it's time. I mean, I guess.
I try to take a photo whenever I see Magz' blanket used in a new configuration. She's done this before, but I hadn't been able to snap it. The buh-buh is sleep time companion as well as stole, obviously.
out advent goodies, ready for use. the nativity scene is crack for little fingers. I did Truth in the Tinsel again this year, plus an advent seek-and-find that Pastor Cindi from WMBC sent home with the kids. I like having these tools so much - I don't stress about making sure we complete and do everything (as the time neared for holiday travel, it became kind of hard to make it all happen), but it provides nice teaching moments and activities for most days.
I like taking the girls to whole foods for lunch when we're out and about - we hit the salad/food bar and split a container.

when ruby is affronted or upset, she crumples and buries her face in her arms. it's both precious and hilarious.
happy new year!
thanks 2013. I know it's easy to say 'this year wasn't the best, so good riddance to it!' but I'm still grateful for it all.
