spending time...

here are some photos depicting ways we spent our last weekend as people without a baby:

driving the cart at Central Market. I admit, I might miss the motor carts!

hubz, intent on zipping around town and gettin' it done:

recycling:

visiting with the Houston Dairymaids @ t'afia... they have the best cheese:

midtown farmer's market:

stopping by Spec's downtown to pick up some M.F. Grape Jones Soda:

making a trip to 406 to pick up some straggling stuff:

tasty Sunday lunch with good friends @ Fadi (I also requested Kam's Indonesian Chicken & Tofu for dinner last night)... it should also be noted that church was so good for me this weekend, and our lesson (by Caleb, @ the head of the table) about being a confessional people really touched me:

and during the course of the weekend, we watched the first season and three eps into the second of this HBO series:

it's pretty racy. and gory. and highly addictive. I think the vampires in this show are way scarier than the ones in Twilight.

so we're headed to the dr.'s office this morning for another general checkup/stress test for the baby, we plan on eating Niko Niko's for lunch, hitting M's eye doctor for a checkup (he scratched his cornea last week!), and then back here to take care of any last minute business before heading to the hospital tonight. if all goes according to plan, I'll be induced tomorrow morning and we'll have a baby by sundown. between the coming hospital experience, mine & the baby's health, and family on the road traveling here we appreciate all of your prayers so much!

Absolutely - you guys are definitely in our prayers for an easy and safe delivery. We are so excited to meet Henrietta!! :) I hope you have someone assigned to the task of posting pictures muy pronto. Your life is about to change drastically, and there is nothing better than being a parent (even at 2:00 a.m. feedings). Cherish those precious times when it is just you and the baby. They're priceless!

I have to admit, I am sad not to be in that picture of everyone at Fadi's. Many prayers are going up for your expanding family.
