things I was reminded of:
Texas is beautiful.
family is precious.
time flies.
riding around looking for cows and taking pictures in a Kawasaki mule is way fun.
so is gathering around the card table for a blood-pumping game of Nertz.
fresh, fried squash touches something deep within me. especially the way Grandma makes it - slice the squash and give 'em an egg & milk bath, lightly flour, and fry 'til golden and delicious.

BEAUTIFUL pictures!! I love weekends with family. And, I love to play Nertz with family, although we call it Pounce...not sure why. Glad you had fun!
We play Nertz, too, but call it Nutzie. Other friends I play with, though, do call it Nertz. Maybe it's a regional thing.
