following our Soup Bible (that's really what it's called, I'm not trying to be sacrilegious), husband made chicken stock from scratch the other night. he took this gorgeous picture of the ingredients:

I MADE A CAKE WITH YELLOW CAKE MIX, LIGHT COOL WHIP, YOGURT, AND STRAWBERRIES, AND GOT TO USE MY YAYA'S CAKE STAND FOR THE FIRST TIME:







So, we ate cake, watched 24, and drank apple juice and ginger ale mocktails (which is a delectable combination, by the way). We're sooooo edgy.

LOL!!! Just like that, my name and defining characteristic (at the time)! So weird... and untrue, now.
