shopping for magz' birthday party - largest apple ever:
attempt #1 at an all-natural, no weird dyes strawberry cake (with lemon buttercream frosting). it was good, but the cake was pretty dense. everyone said they liked it, but I prefer a lighter cake. lucky for me, I get another chance in july with Ru's cake.

my girls easily turn every day into an event, and are constantly wanting to celebrate something or give gifts. it's something I'm trying to let them teach me about.
