April... with a bullet.

April was full. At least, it looks that way.

Willow Meadows Easter hunt:

Ballet was losing it's luster, but we were finishing strong.

I was a guest at AM again, and had the best time I've had in a long time.

The girls came for a while! An Ariel sighting meant a photo opp. A notable story is that Magz told her dad she wanted to have a photo taken with Honey Lemon (from Big Hero 6), and was totally oblivious or nonplussed that HL was cosplayed by a deep-voiced dude. We feel this is positive. :)

Easter at SWC

the littlest ones needed some space to party - hallelujah!

We were so glad to have our cousin with us.

Fun things happen during autographs.

Easter Hunt 2.0 @ Susu & L's:

Enjoying the pretty weather.

and the new, awesome swing. thanks, Grammy!

bell pepper plants, sprouting way early. only one survived and was a little, stunted, green thing for weeks. then, one day, it turned bright orange so fast it was startling. I brought it inside, chopped, and cooked it up in our veggies, and it was so sweet. I've been nursing the plant, and we've actually finally got a couple of new peppers growing in.

L to R: collard greens, 3 kinds of oregano, 2 kinds of sage.

the Y.

a housewarming and birthday party for Grandma!

simply the best.

barre class makes me feel strong, because it's hard.

the girls have taken to wanting their photo taken on this every time we pass.

we have a love of snail-buddies around here, and the rain has left us with plenty.

for our anniversary, mgb rented us a cool loft downtown for the weekend.

concert 1 - mates of state.

I loved staying down there.

seeing What We Do In the Shadows. so fun! after this we had concert 2 - sleater kinney.

I get to take my kids to work sometimes, which I love.

like I said.

eating dinner at mr. malik's pizza place (russo's).

ready for Sunday company.

pity the snails.

sometimes, when I have some free time, I pop into Russo's myself for a little quiet lunch.
