falling behind again. it's such a busy time. traditionally, one of my clients has a flurry of activity at the end of the year, trying to spend their remaining budgets and sending me a bundle of courses to record before Christmas. this is the first year I'm attempting to handle most of them from my studio at home, and between those and the bundle of books I have slated to read between now and the end of the year it's a real test in scheduling, boundaries, all of the things. I'll begin recording on my current book in a few (night is the quietest time to record), but here's a look back at september while the girls are falling asleep:

magz loves to give gifts. seriously, this happens multiple times daily. she's constantly bringing me things, telling me to close my eyes, and 'surprising' me with something. in this case, she brought me the frozen lunchbox full of 'birthday treasures'. she's teaching her sister to giving gifts, too.
may we all have someone to get messy with.
