it's halloween!

so before we head to the church for frolicking and mayhem (and while bitty-bit is taking a nice long nap so she'll be in the proper mood for frolicking and mayhem) here are some photos of late:

hopefully I'll remember my camera tonight so the bumblebee (Maggie) and punky angel (me) will be properly documented.  mgb will likely be working his bootie off helping wherever is needed, as we expect (hope for?!!) a big turnout tonight.  we papered the neighborhood and really tried to get the word out this year, and we so want the opportunity to serve lots of families tonight (and not just tonight, really).  oh, I'll also have to post about our recent mini-mini vacation to San Antonio, because it was two thumbs up.

in other quick, random news, I recorded my first two audiobooks this month (yay!  I hope there are more.), our deck out back is now blue and Antonio came over and chopped down the crazy palm tree growing near it, and I love love love autumn.  hot liquids in mugs, warm socks, snuggling under covers, soft sweaters and cardigans.  does anyone else feel the need to nap excessively as autumn rolls in?  it happens to me every year as it gets cooler, the feeling of needing to stop and sleep...
